Of all the music changes they made to Scrubs on DVD/Netflix this one stings the most.

So “Modern Family” has no camera crew. The talking heads are just asides and the documentary style is only a style.
Interesting.

“I have so much more to tell you and I’m not interested in telling it to anyone else.”
I love 90’s sitcoms and schmaltz and this is one of my favorite combinations of those two things. I spent a long time looking for this clip when I posted that late-night ode to “Mad About You” but it just now popped up on my YouTube recommendation feed thing.
It might not mean anything to you. One of the beautiful things about television is how you fall in love or, more importantly, develop weird one-sided friendships with the people you watch for so long. And one of the beautiful things about formulaic sitcoms is when drama sneaks in there and breaks the joke-punch line convention we’re used to. These characters and moments get to feel real. So I can only speak from a place of really liking these people. If you’ve not spent tons of episodes and hours and years getting to know them it might just seem dumb.
But I just love it so much.
